Account Manager – Landscape Sales

Northern Virginia | Full-Time | Base Salary + Commission
About the Role
Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care is hiring a full-time Account Manager to manage an established base of residential landscape clients in Northern Virginia.
You'll meet with clients at their properties, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend projects, and close sales. This role combines account management, sales, and landscape knowledge.
What You'll Do
Meet with existing clients at their properties and build long-term relationshipsWalk properties to identify improvement opportunitiesRecommend projects such as planting, drainage, sod, and landscape enhancementsPrepare clear, professional quotes and close salesUpgrade clients into better-aligned service programsGenerate referrals and develop new businessTrack opportunities in a CRM systemWork with the operations team to ensure strong execution
Qualifications
Experience in account management, outside sales, or consultative salesLandscape industry experience (maintenance, installation, or related field)Solid understanding of plants, turf, and growing conditions in Northern VirginiaComfortable closing sales and guiding clients to decisionsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsOrganized, self-motivated, and results-drivenValid driver's license
You don't need to be a landscape designer — but you do need a solid horticultural foundation and the confidence to guide clients on improvements.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is based on experience, plus commission on projects and upgrades — with no cap on earning potential.
