This role pays between $140–$350/hour.
Arc is sourcing experienced US-based lawyers for a client opportunity focused on evaluating and improving next-generation AI systems through real-world legal expertise.
We’re looking for legal professionals with strong backgrounds in legal analysis, research, drafting, and content review, particularly those with current or previous experience at leading US law firms.
There are 4 types of roles available:
Litigation Associate Attorney
Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney
BigLaw Lawyers
Lawyers
The work involves:
Conducting detailed legal analysis across a range of US law topics
Performing legal research and assessing complex legal questions
Drafting, reviewing, and editing memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other legal materials
Evaluating AI-generated legal content for accuracy, reasoning, clarity, and professional standards
Identifying errors, inconsistencies, and ambiguities in legal outputs
Providing structured feedback to improve AI reasoning and performance
Collaborating remotely with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
Active licence to practise law in the United States
Strong academic credentials
Current or previous experience at a top-tier US law firm preferred
Significant experience in legal research, analysis, and drafting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and professional judgement
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Highly Valued Experience:
Legal content review and quality assurance
Complex legal drafting
Rubric-based evaluation
Experience across multiple practice areas
Multidisciplinary or technology-focused projects
Prior AI experience is not required.
What matters most is strong legal judgement, rigorous analysis, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to clearly identify where legal reasoning or written work can be improved.
