Job description
Johnston Memorial Hospital (JMH) and Ballad Health Medical Associates located in Abingdon, VA are currently seeking a Board-Certified, da Vinci Trained, Physician Leader to establish our brand-new, full-service, community-supported Urology Center. Candidate will join a wonderful medical community with supportive administration. JMH also houses both internal and family medicine residencies, so the opportunity to inspire the next generation of physicians exists here in the stunning mountains of Southwest Virginia.

Adult Urology Clinic
4-day per week, including clinic and surgeries.
Flexible work-life balance
Call coverage shared with other Urologists/Only 1:4 Weekends
Support team includes nurses and mid-level practitioners that assist with both inpatient and outpatient services.

About Johnston Memorial Hospital
Located in Abingdon, Virginia, Johnston Memorial Hospital is a 116-bed modern medical facility serving Southwest Virginia. Built in 2011, it’s the first “green” hospital in Southwest Virginia certified by LEED and Energy Star. The facility offers a wide range of services, including a 24-hour interventional cardiology program, critical care services, diagnostic imaging services, emergency services, a family birth center with a full-time pediatric hospitalist team, women’s services, laboratory services with direct access testing, outpatient rehabilitation services, palliative care, a sleep center and surgical services, including an Outpatient Surgery Center.
