nQXO is looking for a Lead Accountant to join our LBM Division Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records through preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and month-end close activities. This role supports compliance with accounting standards and timely financial reporting.
nWhat you'll do:
nnnPrepare and post month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries for moderate to high-risk accounts.
n
nnPrepare and maintain balance sheet and subledger reconciliations.
n
nnPerform financial analysis and P&L flux reviews on key accounts.
n
nnPartner with operations and purchasing to support accurate inventory costing
n
nnProvide analysis on material, labor, and overhead variances to operational and financial leaders.
n
nnSupport audits and compliance requirements.
n
nnPartner with management to resolve accounting issues and align internal processes.
n
nnReview of transactions for compliance with GAAP as well as internal accounting policy.
n
nnAd hoc as assigned.
n
n nWhat you'll bring:
nnnBachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
n
nnMinimum of 5 years of accounting experience; experience in multi-entity environments strongly preferred
n
nnStrong understanding of accounting theory/GAAP and ability to perform research as necessary.
n
nnMust be detail oriented, have strong analytical skills and be technically minded.
n
nnAbility to meet strict deadlines and prioritize tasks
n
nnStrong research and reconciliation skills required
n
nnRelevant industry experience considered a plus: Manufacturing/Distribution/Construction
n
nnExperience using ADP, BisTrack, Great Plains is a plus
n
