Lead as Psychiatry Section Chief (Physician) in Salisbury, NC
The Salisbury VA Health Care System is actively seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for the Salisbury VA Medical Center. You will provide care to a diverse veteran population with a good deal of mental health-related issues including but not limited to, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Severe Mental Illness, Substance Use Disorders, and medical co-morbidities.

Teaching and research opportunities with Wake Forest
8:00am -4:30pm, Monday-Friday
Call Coverage: At home, phone call 10-12 days per year.
Optional weekend inpatient coverage for additional pay
Requirements:
Board Certified/ Eligible
Have a full, unrestricted medical license in any State.
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Residency Training must have been completed, approved by the secretary of Veteran Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
U.S. Citizenship: non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Must have 2 years or leadership and supervisory experience.
