Lead Assembly TechnicianWe are seeking a Lead Assembly Technician responsible for operating production equipment to meet customer demands, effectively communicating inventory needs, and driving 5S activities. This role involves collaborating with supervisors, employees, and other Line Leaders to achieve daily tasks, assist in training new employees and developing existing associates, troubleshooting production and flow problems, and completing maintenance requests.Responsibilities:Operate production equipment to meet customer demand.Communicate inventory needs and drive 5S activities.Collaborate with supervisors, employees, and other Line Leaders to achieve daily tasks.Assist the supervisor in training new employees and developing existing associates.Troubleshoot production and flow problems.Complete maintenance requests as needed.Monitor and communicate all production measurements within the cells to the associates.Communicate essential information daily.Essential Skills:1-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.Line leader skill set with proven results.Good planning, organizing, and communication skills.Strong team skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.Ability to read and follow work instructions or verbal instructions.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.Results-driven with a positive attitude.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Assembly experience.Machine shop experience.Efficiency in working environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Blueprint reading skills.Proficiency with hand tools.Production experience.Microscope assembly experience.Why Work Here?This position offers a long-term opportunity with potential conversion after 6-9 months. Operations will be completed per standard work procedures and within the required cycle time. This role may require overtime, including occasional weekends, to meet production demands.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
