Lead Carpenter / Construction Supervisor (Residential)

Heyday Build is focused on rebuilding custom homes in the Altadena area following recent wildfires, contributing to the restoration of local neighborhoods through high-quality, sustainable construction. We're seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead daily field operations and ensure our custom home projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. You will be the go-to person on site, managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, solving problems, and keeping quality and timelines on track. You will also serve as a key liaison between the project manager, trades, and clients, so strong communication and organizational skills are essential. This is a full time, salaried supervisory role focused on site leadership rather than hands on construction labor.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily site operations for multiple custom home projects
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, inspections, and deliveries
Ensure high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality assurance
Maintain accurate site documentation and daily logs
Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and tradespeople
Solve issues proactively and maintain a clean, safe job site
Contribute to creating a collaborative, high-functioning construction team
Qualifications
5 or more years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction
Experience managing custom or high-end homes
Fluency in both English and Spanish required
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, code compliance, and quality control
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
Comfortable with technology, including tablets, apps, and construction management softwar
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites
OSHA 30 certification
Compensation & Benefits
Full time position
Competitive salary range at $80,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience
