Join us and be part of a mission that matters.Benefits: (dependent on your work status)Competitive PayMedical, Dental and VisionHealth Savings AccountPaid Time OffPayActiv – On demand access to earned wagesRetirement match (up to 4%)Essential Functions:Assist in orientation, training and supervision of CNA's during the PM and Weekend shifts.Training/Orientation of new employeesAssist in auditing of current CNA's and reporting any concerns to CNA ManagerParticipate in rotating weekend and holiday on-call rotation.Monitor and record health and behavior of residents and clients. Communicate such information with other members of the interdisciplinary teamKnow and follow residents and clients individual care plansKnow the emergency and evacuation procedures established for the unit/facilityHave a working knowledge of the regulations governing long term careAttend required orientation, training and maintain current Certified Nursing Assistant certificationUse all materials, food and supplies resourcefully, report needed items to the DirectorMaintain a positive work and living environmentAssist in household and housekeeping duties on a daily basis, including inventory, storage of supplies, light housekeeping and other duties as assigned by DON, Director or AdministratorBe available for staff meetings and trainings as requestedClean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture/furnishings according to job standards/proceduresFollow manufacturer's procedural guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, operation of equipment; removal of debris; removal of soiled linens, etc.Requirements:Completion of nursing assistant training and current registration on Federal Nurse Aide Registry and meet requirements to maintain registrationFollow/adhere to organization, federal/state regulations and guidelines, including Resident/Client rightsMaintain neat, well-groomed appearance, adhering to dress code of organization/program.Participate in rotating weekend and holiday on-call rotation.Physical Requirements:Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequentlyPush/pull furnishings weighing up to 60 pounds occasionallyTwist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, walk, and stand frequentlyAble to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents, co-workers, families, and the public.
