In 2025, Sealed Air generated $5.4 billion in sales and has approximately 16,100 employees who serve customers in 119 countries/territories.Pay: $34.00 - $41.50 (Depending on experience) Shift: Day Schedule: 10 AM to 8 PM; Monday through FridayPosition Overview The Set-Up Technician will be responsible for setting up and changing over bag-making equipment in order to support the production team. The Set-Up Technician will also be responsible for working with the maintenance team to improve existing processes and repair techniques when no set-ups are in their scope of work for the day.Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesConducts themself safely and courteously in accordance with company policies and proceduresEfficiently communicates changeover and set-up issues promptlyPerforms preventive maintenance routines on lines per HIPPO Tasks, tooling, and equipment related to the set-up processReviews batch order, Bag Spec to retrieve information for Set-Up.Manages all changeovers and set-ups, adhering to and maintaining allotted times.Collects and manages all SOC'sAdheres to KPI's set forth for changeoversRemove tooling and inspect for damage.Maintain tooling and machines; if requires repair, generate HIPPO WO.Remove and install tooling and perform machine set-up.Verify set-up and set-up samples for accuracy per customer specification.Support Production Operators; achieve and maintain efficiency and quality of product and scrap yieldOther responsibilities and projects as assigned.Competency Statements Act: Safely, Responsibly and Ethically. Integrate: Core Values of Commitment, Responsibility, and Innovation into all aspects of workQualifications Required:High School Diploma.5+ years in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of food processing or packaging.Ability to work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.Knowledge of electrical wiring, controls, PLC, and mechanical systems including bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics.Experience with Allen-Bradley Logix/Studio 5000 & Oracle WMSWork Environment Manufacturing Plant.
