Working within Clinical Informatics and Information Technology, the Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist will guide clinical workflow design and implementation across nursing, physician, ancillary, and IT stakeholders. Day-to-day priorities include evaluating existing processes, translating clinical requirements, leading EHR system improvements and troubleshooting, and supporting safe technology adoption in the patient care environment. This role carries meaningful ownership of Meditech Expanse functionality, project execution, end-user engagement, and quality-focused workflow optimization , backed by cross-functional collaboration with IT leadership and clinical teams.
Positioned within the clinical technology structure, this specialist will maintain strong visibility with departmental leadership while serving as a trusted bridge between technical teams and frontline clinicians. Responsibilities include coordinating implementation priorities, advising nursing leaders, strengthening physician relationships, supporting staff development, and ensuring system changes align with operational and organizational goals. The selected clinical informatics analyst will have latitude to identify risks, recommend solutions, and provide strategic influence on technology-enabled care delivery without being removed from the realities of clinical practice.
