We are looking for Lead Direct Support Professional to help with our vision:Pay: $ an hourPurpose- SC is hiring Full Time Lead Direct Support Professional, to provide assistance to our DDSN Adult Home located in Marietta, SC.Purpose- SC provides meaningful and rewarding employment opportunities supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide residential, educational and recreational programs to support and improve the lives of those we serve in a caring and compassionate team environment.The Lead Direct Support Professional assumes a leadership role within Purpose, SC. They are responsible for managing operations of the home while leading their shift. The Shift Supervisor will ensure all daily activities pertinent to the Impact Program including proper staffing, cleaning the environment, individual hygiene support, engagement in therapeutic and educational activities, and the completion of all documentation and communications needed to support each individual's desired outcome of treatment.Essential Functions/Responsibilities:Provide supervision to Direct Support ProfessionalsEnsure overall therapeutic environment is available to individuals in our care (environment is safe without hazard of injury and individuals' rights are respected);Complete daily cleaning, housekeeping and restocking of supplies during each shift to include proper documentation for all work completed;Ensures the Structured Therapeutic Program Schedule is followedCollaborate and coordinate with other departments as needed for the treatment of individuals to include assisting with medical appointments, admissions and discharges to the program.Document all attempts for individual participation in daily activities, to include but not limited to 15-minute accountabilities, daily shift notes and General Event ReportingResponsible for reporting all shift activities and individual health status summary to the incoming staff prior to shift changeEnsure proper staff coverage ratio is in placeAttend all mandatory team/program meetings;Resolve/repair all damaged or non-functioning company property. If unable to resolve/repair, complete and submit a Maintenance Work RequestActively engage in positive, intermittent communication with guardian(s), family, employees, and referents by telephone and/or face-to-face when requiredFollow the required order of notification and immediately report any event of suspected, witnessed or reported abuse, neglect, exploitation, or misappropriation. Participate in all stages of an investigation pertaining to alleged/suspected abuse and comply with all external investigations or inspections.Complete additional duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Bachelors degree preferred.1 year supervisory experience or have demonstrated leadership ability: the ability to integrate the vision of the organization with all supportive services and personnel.Job Type: Full-time12 hour shiftBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurance
