Job description
Liebherr Mining Equipment Newport News Co. is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer (Level 2 - Team Lead) to drive safety projects for off‑road machines in Newport News, VA.
You will lead system safety analyses, apply standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 19014, ISO 12100), and collaborate with engineering teams to define safety functions and verification strategies. Travel up to 10% may be required.
