Lead GCP Data Architect
Location: Charlotte, United States Work Model: Client-facing; minimum 3 days per week onsite
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data & AI Architect to lead enterprise Data and AI transformation for a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), enterprise data architecture, Generative AI, and agentic AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Define end-to-end Data & AI architecture, target-state design, and transformation roadmaps.
Design scalable data platforms using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, and Vertex AI.
Architect GenAI, RAG, vector search, embeddings, and agentic AI solutions.
Establish data governance, security, compliance, and architecture standards.
Lead architecture reviews, implementation planning, and technical teams.
Collaborate with senior client stakeholders and business leaders.
Required Qualifications:
12+ years of experience in Data, AI, Cloud, or Enterprise Architecture.
Strong hands-on GCP architecture and data engineering expertise.
Experience with enterprise data platforms, batch and streaming architectures, and production AI/ML solutions.
Strong knowledge of GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI architecture.
Financial services or banking industry experience.
Excellent client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
Preferred: Google Cloud Professional Architect or Data Engineer certification.
