Job description
Job TitleTypical skills and tasks include:Ability to measure rough openings.Proficient with power and hand tools.Ability to carrying glass (up to 80lb)Load and unload glass panels as required by project needsFabricating aluminum window frames, cutting & installing glass materials.Read and interpret plans.Interface with customers and project managers.Comply with company process, policies, and safety protocols alwaysMeasure, cut and fabricate glass according to client specifications.Ensure accuracy and precision in all fabrication processProvide advice and address concerns throughout the installation process.Maintain punctuality for appointments and uphold clear communication with clientsSupervise, train and support glass installersEnsure team members have the skills and knowledge for successful performanceProvide coaching and guidance to increase team performanceWhat you'll need to have:Have prior management or supervisory experienceHave 5+ years of glass install or construction related experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentA valid driver's license and acceptable insurability for regular business travelAbility to lift 80 lbs.Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a tape measureGreat attendance recordGreat communication skills.Ability to work alone and with others, which includes co-workers and project management staff.Self-Starter.Work Location: Waterloo / Cedar Falls location (75 mile radius outside the area).Working Schedule: Monday- Friday - 7am - 3:30pmJob Type: Full-time - 40 hours per weekPay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:PTOPaid Holidays401k MatchingMedicalDentalVisionVoluntary BenefitsCompany Short Term and Long Term DisabilityEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
