Job description
Republic Services seeks a Lead Heavy Equipment Tech to inspect, diagnose, and repair refuse trucks and heavy equipment. You’ll lead maintenance activities, coach technicians, prioritize work orders, and ensure safe, reliable fleet operations. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, parts coordination, and accurate documentation. You’ll uphold safety and environmental standards while supporting 24/7 waste and recycling services that keep communities clean and sustainable, working closely with operations teams in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
