Looking for your next histology leadership opportunity in South Florida? A hospital in the Miami area is looking for an experienced Lead Histotechnologist to join its laboratory team.
Position Highlights Lead Histotechnologist position
Provide day-to-day supervision of laboratory operations
Oversee specimen preparation, cutting, staining, and special testing
Coordinate workflow to maintain quality, productivity, and turnaround-time goals
Monitor specimen handling and identification
Work closely with pathologists regarding slide and stain quality
Identify instrument or procedural issues and implement corrective actions
Help coordinate workload and laboratory coverage
What We re Looking For
5+ years of laboratory and supervisory experience
Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license
Strong histology laboratory experience
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to oversee workflow, quality, and laboratory operations
ASCP certification preferred
