The essential job function is to manage and assist in the cleaning and inspection of facilities to ensure the cleanliness and safety of property, guests, and personnel. This position manages multiple third-party contracted staff.Job SpecificationsStarting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.88/hrEmployment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027Shift Type: Full Time hours available Only mid-shift available 2:30pm-11:00pmMinimum Age: At least 18 years of ageHousing Availability: NoJob ResponsibilitiesClean restrooms, offices, and common areas at the property ensuring adherence to Vail Resorts quality, health, and safety standards.Replenish amenities in areas including, but not limited to restrooms, offices, and common areasMaintain inventory and organization of housekeeping supplies in work areas and storage closetsReport any lost and found items, damage, safety concerns, maintenance needs, accidents, or injuries to managementTrain, monitor, and delegate tasks to new employees ensuring adherence to company housekeeping policy and standardsProvide excellent customer service to all guests, teammates, and management; responding promptly to any requestsHandle resort trash, compost and recyclingMinor restroom plumbing repair, vacuum repairSnow removal with hand tools and snow blowersProvides day-to-day work direction for team membersEnforce policies, procedures and safety guidelinesHold daily team meetings and weekly safety meetings alongside managerOther duties as assigned.Job RequirementsValid Drivers LicenseAbility to be trained on and operate snow blowers1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred guest service or hospitality a plusMust be able to communicate in English, bilingual a plusAbility to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekendsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours while consistently bending and liftingDetail-oriented, self-motivating, and strong communicator, both written & verbalExperience related to vacuum/equipment repair, plumbing, carpet cleaning, etc. a plusMust be flexible, adaptable, versatile, and responsive to the needs of the housekeeping responsibilitiesThe expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr.
