Job description
Thea Energy in the United States seeks a Principal Magnet Cryogenics Engineer with 10–15+ years of experience to lead end-to-end HTS magnet cryogenic systems for next‑gen fusion reactors. You will own cryogenic design, thermal-hydraulic modelling, and integration of large-scale CICC or stacked HTS magnets.
Responsibilities include lifecycle stewardship from concept to commissioning, quench strategy, megawatt-class plant interfaces, and governance of major subcontracts.
