Job Description Job Description Total Air Service is seeking a full-time Lead HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Willis, TX, serving customers throughout Montgomery and Walker Counties. Pay: We offer our Lead HVAC Service Technician $35-$38 per hour , plus 5% performance incentives , and the opportunity to earn up to $1,000 per month in leadership bonuses

SCHEDULE FOR OUR LEAD HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

This is a full-time position serving residential and light commercial customers throughout Montgomery and Walker Counties , with participation in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month .

YOUR ROLE AS A LEAD HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN:

In this position, you'll serve as the technical leader of our service team while continuing to perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations in the field. Your day will include coaching technicians during ride-alongs, assisting with troubleshooting, serving as backup technical support for technicians, conducting quality control inspections, supporting dispatch and office staff with technical questions, resolving customer concerns, monitoring department performance, performing monthly fleet and inventory inspections, leading one technical training class per month, training and coaching technicians and plumbers on TAS standard operating procedures, and providing training that helps technicians improve their skills.

In order to do this, you'll need the following:

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Trade school graduate and EPA certification

5+ years of residential and mid to heavy commercial HVAC experience

Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours

Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and customer service skills

Understanding of the current regulations within the field

Excellent communication skills

General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use

Ability to safely perform the physical demands of the role

Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces

Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs

ladder work and tight space work required from time to time

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures

Ability to wear PPE

Ability to handle high-priority calls & clients
