See why our caregivers chose to come and stay to thrive.Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts. This includes but is not limited to fill-ins, new clients and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branches service areas.Pay: $23.50hr plus paid training and mileage reimbursementWhy Family Resource Home Care?Flexible Scheduling. We pay you for your travel time in-between clients.Paid Orientation & Training. You will be paid for the time you spend at orientation and any additional online training that is required.Generous Referral Program. Earn up to $478 per Referral!Continuing Education. We proudly recognize our caregivers through weekly emails and monthly newsletters.Caregiver Job Duties: Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living such as (but not limited to):Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)Cooking and/or serving mealsHelping clients bathe, dress, and groomProviding companionship through daily activities and hobbiesDriving clients (as needed) to the store or appointmentsMonitoring and reporting on their conditionAssisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers.Fill in as neededTrain new caregiversClient intakesLead Caregiver Schedule: Flexible hoursWe have 2 lead positions currently open!!1 resides in The Dalles1 resides in Hood RiverCaregiver who can cover both areas preferredAdditional Information:Our hiring process is fast and simple! Apply and the recruiter in your region will connect with you to schedule a phone interview. If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients!If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with the nurse-led medication training before you can work with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!Requirements:18 years+Ability to pass a state and national background checkValid driver's license, auto insurance and clean driving recordAbility to transport clients in their own vehicleAbility to adapt to flexible schedulesAbility to lift a minimum of 10lbs and up to 50lb rarely.One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home settingMust own a smart phone with capabilities to download and use a mobile app.HCA or C.N.A. certification preferred but not requiredFamily Resource Home Care is an equal opportunity employer.
