We’re in pursuit of a detail-oriented and proactive Lead Installer to oversee and execute project installations. This role involves a mix of coordination, communication, and team management. This person will possess strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and a solid understanding of project logistics, installation, and budget management.
Responsibilities
Team Guidance: Trains installers, directs and organizes installers, instructs temporary help/trainees, and commands crew respect.
Professionalism: Maintains a highly professional appearance, manner, and strong work ethic; highly punctual and self-motivated.
Communication: Possesses strong oral and written communication skills for interfacing with crews and customers.
Floorplans & Standards: Reads plans, blueprints, elevations, and specs to deliver high-quality furniture installations that meet dealership standards.
Product Knowledge: Expert across all major furniture lines carried by the dealer; manages small inventories and specifies correct product use.
Electrical Integration: Knowledgeable in electrical hookups to building power; effectively interfaces with electricians and cabling subcontractors.
Project Wrap-Up: Manages the official punch list and follows proper procedures to close out a project cleanly.
Requirements
Must be able to pass all government-mandated background checks and access requirements, which may include U.S. citizenship for work on high-security federal projects.
5 or more years of commercial furniture installation experience.
Proficient with the Google ecosystem (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc) to access, update, and share project details and drawings.
Compensation
Full benefits package
Salary range of $67,000 – $70,000
