Nycom Is Hiring!Come join one of the largest names in Laboratory Construction.With offices throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US, our specialty is interior construction, involving laboratory furniture/equipment and custom woodwork for clients in the Educational, Industrial, Research, and Healthcare markets.This opportunity requires a strong work ethic and a passion for success. If you meet our criteria and are looking for a challenging career, please apply.Responsibilities:Visit Construction Sites and Document Progress and Readiness for Interior Casework Installation.Educate and coordinate with general contractors and owners on how to be ready for an efficient casework installation.Coordinate access, storage, readiness, schedule, phasing, hoisting, jobsite rules, etc.Attend jobsite progress meetings.Perform Quality Control Inspections of Casework Installation. Enforce adherence to Nycom installation standards.In coordination with Project Management, contract and schedule installation subcontractors.Enforce safety policies and jobsite cleanup.Coordinate deliveries of materials.Take field dimensions at jobsites.Installation of various product linesDevelop punchlists and ensure proper and timely completion of installations.Install miscellaneous items that may arrive following mobilization.Update Project Managers on the status of projects.Responsible for completing each project on time, within budget, and most importantly - satisfying our customer.Manages direct reports/installers (1-3 man crew).Travel 70%The ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time and priorities to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.If you meet our criteria and are seeking a challenging career, Nycom is interested in you. A pre-employment physical, a good-standing MVR, a drug screen, and a background check will be required to start employment and are contingent upon your offer letter.Requirements:Ability to effectively build solid business relationships with Architects, Facilities Personnel, End Users, and General Contractors.Physically able to work in the field, at construction sites on a daily basis.Communicate in an accurate and timely fashion with all departments within Nycom, as well as our clients.Skilled at reading and interpreting architectural plans and shop drawings, carpentry, and administration of project closeout.Able to coordinate work with Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical trades.Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a lead carpenter, foreman, or superintendent.Our compensation package includes:401(k) MatchingEmployer-Paid Medical BenefitsPaid Holidays18 days of Prorated PTOWellness ProgramGym Reimbursement
