Position Summary

Tekintegral is seeking an exceptional, highly accomplished Lead Java Full Stack Engineer to spearhead high-impact enterprise software engineering initiatives in Irving, Texas. In this pivotal technical leadership role, you will architect, build, and deploy resilient, distributed full-stack applications that power mission-critical business systems. Operating as a principal engineering lead, you will bridge scalable server-side microservices with responsive, dynamic user interfaces, championing modern software engineering standards across the entire development lifecycle. This role demands extensive architectural depth, hands-on development excellence, and strong team leadership capabilities to drive transformative digital engineering outcomes. Local candidates based in or near Irving, Texas, with valid work authorization are strongly encouraged to apply.

Detailed Job Description

As the Lead Java Full Stack Engineer at Tekintegral, you will provide comprehensive technical direction, solution architecture, and hands-on coding expertise across high-throughput enterprise platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering squads, product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust Java-based microservices and cutting-edge frontend interfaces.

Your responsibilities encompass engineering resilient RESTful APIs, orchestrating event-driven microservices architectures using Kafka, and building performant client-facing components utilizing modern web frameworks like React or Angular. You will establish coding benchmarks, enforce automated CI/CD deployment pipelines, optimize relational and NoSQL databases for high-concurrency environments, and guarantee rigorous enterprise security standards across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Beyond architectural governance, you will actively mentor mid-level and senior engineers, conduct thorough peer code reviews, resolve complex production bottlenecks, and drive continuous software delivery under Agile and Scrum methodologies. This role culminates in an mandatory final-round in-person interview in Irving, TX.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and deliver end-to-end distributed enterprise full-stack software applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks.

Lead and mentor agile development teams through architectural design reviews, sprint execution, technical mentoring, and rigorous code inspections.

Design and optimize high-throughput RESTful and GraphQL APIs and event-driven microservices architectures using Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Develop scalable, responsive, and cross-browser enterprise web user interfaces utilizing modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as React or Angular.

Architect, model, and tune relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra) databases for maximum performance and data integrity.

Implement and streamline automated CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments using Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes across enterprise cloud platforms.

Enforce enterprise cyber security, OAuth2/OIDC authentication protocols, secure coding standards, and vulnerability remediation across all application layers.

Conduct in-depth performance benchmarking, profiling, and root-cause analysis to resolve intricate latency, memory, and concurrency bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Extensive hands-on technical leadership experience designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade Java full-stack applications.

Expert-level software engineering proficiency in Java (Java 11/17/21), Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud microservices architectures.

Deep technical expertise in modern front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and frameworks such as React.js or Angular.

Proven background in architecting, developing, and securing RESTful Web Services, API gateways, and asynchronous event-driven systems.

Strong proficiency in relational database management systems and advanced query tuning (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) as well as NoSQL data stores.

Hands-on experience with containerization and DevOps workflows, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and public cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Current physical residence in or near Irving, Texas (local candidates required), with full availability to attend an in-person final-round interview.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Recognized cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect.

Hands-on experience implementing message brokers and streaming architectures utilizing Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS Kinesis.

Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Familiarity with modern observability and distributed tracing tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

Experience with test-driven development (TDD), behavioral testing frameworks, and automated performance testing tools like JMeter.
