Regardless of the position one holds, each team member brings their talent and desire to positively impact the environment and lives of others in a refreshing, vibrant, and inclusive culture.We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented groundskeeper to maintain and enhance the landscaping and outdoor grounds of the BETA Technologies properties. This role is essential to creating a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors. This is a full-time, year-round position. You will work hands-on while supervising a junior groundskeeper during the landscaping season. In the off-season, you will work to prepare the grounds for winter and manage some light snow clearing and other general facilities maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining well-manicured facilities and have a strong work ethic.How You Will Contribute To Revolutionizing Electric Aviation:Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning of trees and shrubsPlant, mulch, and maintain flower beds and gardensOperate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and effectivelyMaintain parking lots and walkways; sweep and pressure wash as neededMaintain irrigation systems and plant new graMonitor grounds for maintenance issues and report to supervisorCoordinate with contractors for pest control, tree services, and other specialized maintenanceMaintain inventory of tools, equipment, and suppliesPerform some snow removal during winter monthsMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent2+ years of grounds maintenance or landscaping experienceValid driver's license with clean driving recordKnowledge of turf care, plantings, and landscape maintenanceAbility to operate commercial landscaping equipment and snowplowAbove & Beyond Qualifications:Experience with commercial property maintenanceForeman or supervisory experienceProficiency with irrigation systemsEquipment repair and troubleshooting skillsLandscape design experienceThe wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role.
