Job description
Lead Coach
Dream Center Indianapolis is hiring a Lead Coach, a certified life coach who becomes the primary coaching presence in our Life Coaching System. This part-time, salaried, virtual-first role delivers weekly group and 1:1 coaching that drives real outcomes for participants: certification, savings, and career development.
The Dream Center serves as a resource center focused on disrupting and reversing the cycle of poverty. We take at-risk families on an 18-month pathway out of poverty. We partner with local, state, and federal resources to provide the training and support that produce a clear, permanent pathway from poverty to a life of prosperity, all under one roof.
This role delivers coaching through a combination of a weekly group session and weekly 1:1 sessions for additional support. This is not a rigid, one-size-fits-all schedule, it flexes with Pathway System needs.
Core responsibilities include:
Group coaching: Deliver weekly virtual group teaching and coaching sessions to participants within a cohort.
1:1 coaching: Deliver weekly 1:1 coaching sessions, virtually, to individual participants as needed.
Participant progress tracking: Submit a brief session report after each session — date, focus, action item, any concerns or milestones.
Collaboration & escalation: Communicate regularly with the Program Director about caseload, participant needs, and any concerns.
Coaching/teaching content & resource creation: Short teaching videos on core coaching topics for participants to revisit.
Qualifications:
Active life coaching certification
3-5 years of direct coaching or related experience working with individuals on personal and professional goals
Experience delivering both group and 1:1 coaching
Demonstrated experience working with women navigating poverty, workforce barriers, or major life transitions
Strong relationship-building skills: warm, consistent, reliable, and able to establish trust quickly, in both group and individual settings
Ability to manage a coaching caseload with organization, care, and consistent follow-through
Comfort with documentation and session tracking
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfort with virtual coaching via Zoom and digital tools for tracking and communication
Alignment with Dream Center Indianapolis's mission, values, and faith-informed culture
Salary: $5,000 - $6,000 per month
