Lead Medical Assistant / Clinical Office CoordinatorTake the Next Step in Your Medical Assistant Career!Are you an experienced Medical Assistant ready to grow into a leadership role? Join our team as a Lead Medical Assistant / Clinical Office Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in both patient care and daily clinic operations. In this position, you'll support physicians while also guiding and coordinating Medical Assistant activities to ensure a smooth, efficient, and patient-centered experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities. Reporting to the Senior Practice Manager, you will work closely with physicians and staff to maintain high standards of care, patient flow, and operational excellence.What You'll DoLead and support Medical Assistant staff in daily clinical operationsPrepare patients for exams, including vitals, documentation, and intakeAssist physicians with clinical procedures and patient careCoordinate workflows to ensure efficient patient flow and schedulingMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Serve as a resource for staff and help troubleshoot day-to-day issuesDeliver excellent customer service to patients in person and over the phoneEnsure compliance with clinical, safety, and confidentiality standardsWhat You BringRequired EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferredRequired Experience5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical or physician's office preferredLicensure & CertificationCurrent BLS certification required within 4 months of hireKey Skills & StrengthsStrong leadership and team coordination abilitiesExcellent patient care and customer service skillsEffective communication skills (in person and by phone)Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); GE Centricity and/or Meditech preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationComfortable multitasking in a fast-paced clinical environmentWhy Join Us?Opportunity to grow into a leadership role within a clinical settingWork closely with physicians and a collaborative care teamMake a direct impact on patient experience and clinic efficiencySupportive environment with opportunities for professional development
