Job description
MITRE’s Nuclear Weapon Systems and C2 Platforms Dept. seeks an engineer specializing in Nuclear Codes and Cryptography to join a team delivering security for a modern U.S. nuclear weapon system.
The role is based at Hill AFB, UT, with possible reassignment to MA/VA/TX locations and travel requirements. Responsibilities include evaluating cryptographic solutions, advising on COMSEC practices, and developing modernization plans interoperable with STRATCOM key & code distribution.
