Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.
Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ transplantation.
This is a benefited, full time position (64 hours per pay period) generally working weekdays on an 8-hr shift schedule with start times ranging from 7-8am. Call is required after hours (4-8pm, about twice a week) and weekends (8am-8pm, about once or twice a month). Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla.

What you'll do:
Functions as liaison between state and federal agencies for licensure, certification, and QA requirements for the entire radiology department.
Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
Maintains all records as needed to verify that regulations are being maintained at all times.
Responsible for charge reconciliation audits for procedures performed in Nuclear Medicine department.
This position is eligible for up to $10k in New Hire Retention Incentives and relocation up to $6k if moving from 100+ miles away.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology
Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting
Excellent interpersonal skills
Required Certification/Registration:
CNMT
RT-VEN
BLS through the American Heart Association
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
2 years' experience
Knowledge of patient focused care delivery

Position Pay Range: $62.80-$91.07/hour
