Job description
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services while guiding a collaborative, patient-focused imaging team. In this role, you will perform complex exams, verify orders, obtain patient histories, and partner closely with radiologists and providers to support accurate diagnoses. You will coordinate schedules and workflow, mentor sonographers, uphold safety and quality standards, and ensure optimal use and care of imaging equipment across our hospital and outpatient settings.
