Other duties may be assigned.Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual.Understand and support the Corporate Mission Statement, Values, Vision, and Operating Principles.Adhere to mandatory daily stretch and safety requirements.Meet attendance standards.Meets productivity expectations and standardsAccepts responsibility for own actionsActs as a resource for problem solving and decision makingDrive standard work adherence through rounds and auditsGuide and direct work of other Rewind and Press Helper personnelKitting (setting up work stations with necessary materials and equipment)Cover breaksCollaborate with Press Supervisors on scheduling for rewind/ finishingKAN BAN – ordering supplies following FIFOOrder supplies as needed for peak packaging needsAct as a resource for Customer Service regarding Vision issuesVision functionality troubleshootingDirecting finishing / rewind on priorities, evaluating changes in prioritiesPharma auditsReviewing samplesDouble checksPackingAttend all toolbox meetings, providing feedback as appropriateDuties may be changed or additional duties assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Skills: Must have knowledge of Flexo printing; Must be comfortable providing direction and guidance to fellow employees; Quality conscious and customer focused; Self-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem solving skills; Above average comprehension, verbal and written communication skills; Interpersonal skills working within a team environmentPhysical Demands: Works in a manufacturing environment and will be required to wear hearing, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. May, on a continuous basis, stand for a long period of time and stoop, bend, and kneel frequently. May handle, feel and reach for items in and around press area and continuously grasp product from a conveyor for up to 12 hours (4 hours at a time due to breaks). Moderate to frequent walking and lifting and/or move up to 50 lbs (20 lbs repetitively) is required. Vision: close vision, distance and color vision to distinguish color variations, peripheral and depth perception as well as the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
