Job description
Job PositionThis is a 2nd shift (evening) position which includes a $2.00 per hour Lead differential, plus a $0.75/hour shift differential in addition to the base pay rate. Hours are 2:30 pm to 11 pm Monday to Friday.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesIdentifies and attempts to resolve problems, escalating as appropriateDocuments and ensures effective training for all relevant personnelDevelops, tracks, and implements ideas to continuously improve safety, quality, cost and deliveryLeads and inspires others to apply a disciplined root cause analysis approach to all problemsMonitors, informs, and assists supervisor in making adjustments to production or work assignments based on customer demand or other constraintsAssists with changeovers and helps with setups as required to maintain product flowMonitors and updates production boardsProvides supervisor with feedback regarding employee performance on a consistent basisPerforms operations as necessary to cover breaks, absences and meet deadlinesEnsures accurate documentation is being used and completed in a timely mannerEnsures all safety protocols are strictly followedEducation and ExperienceRequired:High school diploma, or equivalent2 year experience in a production environmentDesired:Experience with clean room manufacturing3+ years experience in a production/Assembly environmentCompetenciesAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English languageAbility to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectivelyAbility to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performanceAbility to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlinesWillingness to strive for excellence by producing work that is free of errors and mistakesDesire to delight both customers and coworkers by offering encouragement, fostering teamwork and addressing conflict appropriatelyCommitment to making improvements company wideDemonstrated competence using Microsoft OfficeDesire and willingness to train and assist other team membersStrong work ethic and leadership skillsWell developed organizational and time-management skillsAbility to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with coworkers and companyKey Interfaces and StakeholdersCo-workersCustomersManagersAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran, disability, or any other status protected by state or federal law.NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
