Lead Operator Kaizen TechnicianWe are seeking a Lead Operator Kaizen Technician for our premier client, Heartland Automotive, in Lafayette! The Lead Operator will fabricate and assemble structural products such as racks for manufacturing parts according to job order or verbal instructions. Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications, using square, ruler, and measuring tape. Capable of analyzing data as well as observing plant activities to identify problem issues. Must be able to read and understand work instructions. Must be proficient in math and reading skills. Clear understanding of Plant Metrics and Objectives. Basic understanding of Production and Material Delivery Process's. Capable of utilizing or learning to utilize tools such as Time Studies, Yamazumi Charts and 5 Why Analysis to pinpoint problems. Ability to work well with Department Leadership to understand the desired improvement activity. Excellent communication skills between Production floor and related Departments.Associate RequirementsHS Diploma or GED, Background Check, Able to Lift 50 pounds, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old
