Lead PainterDepartment: OperationsReports To: Paint SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptAqueous Vets® (AV®) is seeking talented, capable applicants to fill several key roles for our growing organization.AV is a vertically integrated company that manufactures pressure vessels and water treatment systems to address contaminated groundwater impacted with emerging contaminates (PFOA/PFOS, VOC's, fuels, 1,2,3-TCP, TOC, Chrome 6, and Arsenic). Based in Redding, California, our capabilities include design and engineering, system manufacturing, system installation, startup services, and site civil construction. Our integrated system approach allows AV the ability to deliver the entire treatment system from the influent to effluent flanges on the treatment pad, creating more value for our clients and the end-user.This role will be a full-time working lead role reporting to the Paint Supervisor.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure a safe work environment with a constant safety focusAdhere to the production schedule and coordinate with Paint Supervisor to ensure On Time DeliveryLead and supportResponsible for demand planning and evaluating all material requirementsCoordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availabilityCoordinate with third party vendors for coating/lining/plating or any external operationsSupport materials management and inventory controls as requiredEducation and/or Experience:Must have high school diploma or GED EquivalentMust have minimum 7-10 years experience specifically in industrial manufacturing Painting, pressure vessels is a plusFamiliarity with Plasite 4110 and similar products is strongly preferredMedia blasting experience and surface profile knowledgeExposure to ASME code pressure vessel fabrication preferredAbility to read drawings, manufacturer specifications, and instructions as it relates to paint productsExperience with operating plural paint system strongly preferredNACE Level I / II or CIP Level I certification strongly preferredMust be able to pass pre-employment physical and background check and must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
