Job description
Lead Plastic Injection MoldingMechanical Rubber Texas is looking for an experienced Lead Plastic Injection Molding Operator who can run machines, solve problems on the floor, and help lead a small team. This is a working lead position — you'll be hands-on with setups, mold changes, and troubleshooting while keeping production moving and quality on point.Location: Brenham, TX Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. One shift facility Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour (based on experience)What We Offer:After 90 days:Company-paid dental insuranceCompany-paid vision insuranceHealth Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)After 1 year:Life insurance401(k) with employer matchResponsibilitiesSet up and run plastic injection molding machinesPerform mold changes, startups, and process adjustmentsTroubleshoot machine, mold, material, and part issuesLead and support operators during daily productionMake sure parts meet quality requirementsWatch cycle times, scrap, and overall production flowTrain operators on proper setup, operation, and safetyWork with maintenance and supervisors to fix issues fastKeep work areas clean, safe, and organizedComplete basic production and quality paperworkQualificationsWhat We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on plastic injection molding experiencePrevious lead experience or someone ready to step into a lead roleStrong troubleshooting skills and mechanical abilityComfortable working on the floor and leading by exampleAble to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periodsGood communication and a team-first attitudeNice to Have Rubber or elastomer molding experiencePreventive maintenance experience
