nResponsibilities
nnnAssess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
n
nnEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
n
nnMonitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
n
nnProvide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
n
nnAssists Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of Registered Dietitians
n
nnCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.
n
nnProvide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
n
nnAll other duties as assigned.
n
n nQualifications
nnnRegistered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by the applicable state.
n
nnBachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
n
nnMinimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
n
nnStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
n
nnKnowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
n
nnBasic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
n
nnMust be able to read and interpret dining service cost reports, financial data, etc.
n
nnCompliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
n
nnMust be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods of time.
n
nnMust be able to work around food and cleaning products.
n
nnResidency within the service area is required.
