Requirements, desired qualification, skills and abilities located below.Job ObjectiveTo oversee the sanitation department; train all sanitation/janitorial employees on proper methods of cleaning. Create and adhere to sanitation work instructions. Complete general housekeeping and sanitation in processing areas.Essential DutiesCleaning of all processing equipment and building structure according to sanitation standard operating proceduresOperating equipmentAssembling and dis-assembling of equipmentPerform chemical concentration testingDirecting/leading sanitation/janitorial workersResponsible to make sure employees are working in a safe manorTraining employees on relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)Update SOPs and WIs with any changes in procedure or chemicalsInventory for sanitation departmentProper use of all equipment required to complete taskMonitor for possible rodent or bug infestationWork with peer, supervisors, and subordinate groupsPerform preventive maintenance functions as requiredWrite up work request orders for areas that need maintenance attentionMake recommendations for facility improvementsJob Qualifications & Physical SpecificationsSelf-motivationLearning, memorizing and executing a sequence of proceduresMust be comfortable working on ladders and lifts at various heightsMust wear safety harnesses in required areas at required heightsGood hand – eye coordinationWilling and able to get along with othersAble to work independently and as a teamGood judgment and reasoning abilitiesAbility to drive forklift and pass certification examKnowledge of chemicalsBasic computer skills in Word and ExcelGeneral mathematical abilityGood documentation skillsExperience or training 3 monthsBenefitsHealth, Dental, & VisionWellness program discounts - up to $150 discounted towards health insurance monthly80 Hours of PTO Accrued in First Year of Employment7 Paid HolidaysKLN Clinic - Free doctor visits & more than 300 free prescriptions401k Match OpportunityOpportunity to meet with our onsite financial advisors$10,000 Forgivable Home Grant ProgramTuition Assistance
