Description
An Engineer Journeyman - Steam must possess high degree of knowledge of automated building control systems and may also perform a wide variety of work requiring high skill levels and abilities including but not limited to electricity, electronics, sheet metal work, welding, mechanics, machine shop work, hydraulics, plumbing, painting, ventilation work, carpentry, plastering, concrete and masonry work, ceiling installation, floor installation and motors.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Must have successfully completed extensive specialized training courses or demonstrated ability and experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
4 years building control systems inspection, testing, repair and maintenance in a hospital environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Systems, Building Control Technology, HVAC, or similar field.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
