Lead Sewer CrewPrecision Today is a trusted home service provider serving Franklin Park homeowners with dependable plumbing, drain, sewer, HVAC, and electrical solutions. Our team is committed to delivering efficient, high-quality service that keeps home systems running smoothly and customers comfortable year-round.We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Sewer Crew to join our team. This role is ideal for skilled professionals who take pride in leading and supporting crew operations, performing sewer repairs and replacements via excavation and trenchless applications and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards while contributing to an excellent customer experience.Responsibilities:Lead and assist residential sewer and drain crew operations on job sitesOperate and oversee equipment usage including back hoe, hydro jetter, sewer cameras, power saws, jack-hammers, and grinders.Coordinate with the Bottom Man and crew members to ensure safe, efficient completion of sewer repair and replacement projects.Read and interpret sewer camera inspections, locate issues, and assist in determining repair solutions.Perform sewer line repairs, replacements, cleanouts, spot repairs, and related excavation work.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Illinois plumbing codes, OSHA safety standards, local municipality regulations, and company procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on all job sites.Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding work being completed, timelines, and job expectationsIs the competent person on job site and point of contact for management, coordinator, inspector and homeowner.Complete job documentation, photos, and necessary paperwork accurately and timelyInspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns immediatelyAssist with restoration and cleanup following completion of sewer workParticipate in on-call rotations or overtime as neededQualifications:1+ years of sewer excavation experience. Trenchless lining experience a plus.Previous experience working as a Sewer Top Man, Excavation Laborer, Pipe Layer, or similar field position preferredKnowledge of residential sewer systems, underground utilities, and excavation safety proceduresFamiliarity with Illinois plumbing regulations, utility locating requirements, and OSHA excavation/trench safety standardsAbility to safely operate sewer and excavation equipmentExperience working around trench boxes, shoring, and confined work areas preferredMust be able to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in inclement weather conditions year-round as well as mud, sewage.Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a teamValid driver's license with a clean driving recordSuccessfully complete our screening process, which includes assessments, interviews, background checks, and drug screening.Benefits:Health Coverage: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision plan optionsInsurance: Life, AD&D, and long-term disability included; optional short-term and gap coverageSavings Accounts: FSA and HSA contribution optionsRetirement: 401(k) available upon hire with employer match; Traditional and Roth optionsTime Off & Perks:Paid time off and holidaysPaid parental leaveGrowth and Training Opportunities:On-going training and developmentPosted Min Pay Rate: USD $65,000.00/Yr.Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $95,000.00/Yr.
