Job description
As a Lead Sonographer at Wellstar, you will provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services while guiding a collaborative imaging team within a leading not‑for‑profit health system. You will perform and oversee a wide range of ultrasound exams, ensuring high‑quality images, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Partnering closely with radiologists, physicians, and nurses, you will support compassionate, patient-centered care and timely diagnosis. In this leadership role, you will mentor sonographers, coordinate workflow and scheduling, help implement new technologies and protocols, and contribute to continuous quality and process improvement across hospitals and outpatient settings.
