Job description
Wellstar seeks a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality ultrasound services across its integrated health system. In this role, you will perform complex diagnostic sonography exams, ensure optimal image quality, and support accurate diagnoses for patients of all ages. You will coordinate daily workflow, prioritize cases, and serve as a clinical resource and mentor for sonographers and students. Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and providers, you will promote safe, compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting quality initiatives, protocol optimization, and staff education in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
