Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services across our Georgia care settings. In this role, you will perform and oversee a full range of ultrasound exams, ensuring exceptional image quality, accurate documentation, and timely collaboration with interpreting providers. You will lead and mentor a team of sonographers, support scheduling and workflow, and champion patient-centered care aligned with Wellstar’s mission. The Lead Sonographer partners with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, upholds safety and infection control standards, and contributes to quality improvement, education, and protocol development.
