Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee a variety of ultrasound exams, ensuring images meet diagnostic and accreditation standards while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. You will mentor and precept sonographers, support new staff onboarding, and partner with radiologists and providers on complex cases. As part of a collaborative, not-for-profit health system, you’ll contribute to quality improvement initiatives, adopt advanced imaging technologies, and help shape best practices across Wellstar’s hospitals and care settings, with opportunities for ongoing education and career growth.
