Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to guide high-quality ultrasound services within our integrated, patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform complex diagnostic ultrasound exams, oversee daily workflow, and serve as a clinical resource for sonographers and students. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities include image quality review, equipment oversight, adherence to safety and accreditation standards, and active participation in quality improvement and staff education.
