Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. Based in our patient-centered, not-for-profit health system, this role performs complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring accurate images and measurements for clinical decision-making. The Lead Sonographer oversees daily workflow, mentors staff, maintains equipment quality and safety, and partners closely with physicians and nurses to deliver compassionate, timely care across diverse patient populations.
