Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team across our Georgia care settings. In this role, you will perform complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring precise image acquisition and thorough documentation in support of accurate diagnoses. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and partner closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams. The position upholds strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards while contributing to protocol development, staff education, and continuous improvement in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
