Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex exams, ensure image quality, and uphold patient safety and comfort. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. The Lead Sonographer also supports protocol development, quality initiatives, and equipment maintenance across Wellstar’s dynamic care settings.
