Job description
Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team across our Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and other ultrasound exams using advanced equipment, ensuring accurate images and timely studies for diverse patient populations. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and promote best practices in quality, safety, and patient communication. Working within a collaborative, patient-focused culture, you’ll partner closely with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to support excellent clinical outcomes and compassionate, patient-centered care while contributing to continuous improvement and education within a large, innovative not-for-profit health system.
