Job description
Wellstar Health System seeks a Lead Sonographer to deliver high-quality, patient-centered ultrasound imaging across its Georgia facilities. In this role, you will perform advanced diagnostic exams, ensuring adherence to safety and imaging protocols while providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care. You will coordinate daily workflow, support scheduling, and serve as a clinical resource for sonographers and students. The Lead Sonographer collaborates closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, maintains and troubleshoots equipment, and contributes to quality improvement, education, and best-practice imaging standards.
