Job description
WellStar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this onsite role, you will perform and oversee a variety of exams, ensure optimal image quality, and support accurate, timely diagnoses for patients across our hospitals and care centers. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor sonographers and students, and collaborate with radiologists and providers. The Lead Sonographer also champions safety, protocol compliance, quality initiatives, and equipment maintenance in a patient-focused, collaborative environment.
