Job description
WellStar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and team leadership within our patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform complex vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies, ensuring high-quality images, accurate documentation, and strict adherence to safety standards. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor and support sonographers and students, collaborate closely with radiologists and providers, and help drive quality improvement and accreditation efforts across our imaging services.
